.458 starts at 300 gr. bullets....

I can attest you don't want much of 450 gr. and higher bullets so it's actually a bit less versatile than you think. Surprisingly the .475 GNR has it beat with all the .475 LB pistol bullets. The .416 is a specialty number and if Firman had not done in an Ele with one I'd probably not have one either. My "Bill Firman" replica. But I do have a 340 and 395 gr. cast mould for it.

The .440 gr. is a winner, beating a .444 Marlin rifle. It can shoot from 180 gr. to well, .400 gr., with some work. I never have sized down the 410 gr. 425 Westley Richards slugs for it.

The .476 is scary sounding but a good one too, just a bit more looping trajectory. I have a ball shooting .476/325 gr. cast and Trail Boss.
