It would be interesting to give him a call. I think the Glock conversion was by far the cheapest alternative to give it a try. Around $500? I'm not big on shooting people but that would be a dandy with the frontal area. The bullet was close to a round ball as far as ballistic coefficient. But it's not marketed as a hunting gun.

I'd like a new Glock ctg. that shoots .429" bullets. Sort of a grown up 10mm. A bottleneck off the .45 Super might be OK if they didn't mess it up on headspace. The old Elmer load from a semi-auto that was not overly large would be keen. I can almost get that from my 10mm but just not quite. My special 10mm gun can run a 230 cast at 1200 but it's hot, hot, hot. Maybe an AMP .44 Special?
