I have one that uses full moon clips in .400 caliber. I HATE, HATE, those spring clips ($3-5 each). They load and shoot fine but keeping up with them and unloading them are a pain.

I tried making "rimmed" 10mm ammo but I have to take care of them still headspacing on the case rim, then close but not rubbing, the recoil shield. Very critical case length. Plus the .30-30 cases I used are too thick, need inside reaming to hold the bullet and not be bulged out. My only successful cases were highly modifed .41 S&W resized .40 cal. and lathe turned at the web. I made (6) and ran out of steam. But THEY worked!

I have been wanting to rent a reamer and hog the chambers out to Starline 10mm Mag. I might be able to use the .30-30 brass then. I've never inside necked reamed anything before.
