with a 10½" barrel with a .002 barrel/cylinder gap. The 410 data was done with a 6" revolver, the prototype revolver that had a .0045" barrel/cylinder gap. Later on we re-did the test with the same length barrels and same .002 gap and they were within 35 fps of each other. The 410 GNR revolver was my own and in rushing the gun out for the hunt where I took the African Savannah buffalo I didn't pay enough attention to the barrel/cylinder gap. It still took the buff with one shot but afterwards we ran the barrel back to a .002 gap and they were, for all practical purposes, identical. In the new loading manual we hope to have out by mid to late summer they will show as equal.
