with that small a gap you would have to take the cylinder out every few rounds and brush off the accumulated powder residue off the face of the cylinder and back of the barrel or it would bind up. .002 is a good solid gap. You still have to check it every now and then if you feel it rubbing but for the most part it is a perfect setting.
