I once ran a bit over 400 rounds through a Raven .25 auto. That should be in a record book I would think.
I also decided to see if I could improve the ammo. My Dad made me a 48 gr. trunicated cone bullet mold for the .25. I loaded it with 'way over maximum loads and actually got it up over 1000 fps! The little gun stayed together which amazed me.
The only issue was the there was no web left in the primer pocket of the cartridge after firing those loads. I am not sure which direction the primer went.
If you try this kind of stuff you are on your own. I am not recommending it.
