Anyway the 300 GNR has a case capacity of 28.5 grains. The 327 federal has 18.5 and the 321 GNR has a case capacity of 25.5, slightly less than the 300 GNR. Where the 321 excels is that you can use readily available 357 Magnum brass and there is no cutting and trimming and fire forming to the 321 GNR. For a person that has considerable time and doesn't work for a living, like WB, the 300 GNR is perfect and a great large deer size critter cartridge. For those that either don't have the extra time or just don't want to go thru the trimming etc, the 321 GNR is perfect and is also good for large deer size critters. The 327 federal, on the other hand is good for rampaging gay chipmunks and animals of that sort.
