Ruin the looks of a gun. In my opinion it would take a lot more than a short mag to make an AR or AK look good. They have a purpose and are very good at it, but to me they will never look like a real rifle. Give me nice bluing and a beautiful pice of wood and I’m in heaven, especially if it’s Garys bluing. A little engraving is like putting a cheery on top. Just my opinion. I do keep an AR around for that just Incase moment.
