old savage 219 in 22 hornet it has holes drilled and tapped for a old side mount scope plus it also has weaver bases on it . it came with a very old weaver G6 scope mounted in burris z rings using metal spacers to adapt the 3/4" tube to the 1" rings .I would love to find a original side mount for the G6.a few old timers told me that the gun and scope dates from before WW2 and to shoot only lighter bullets as the barrel twist is very slow somewhere around 1 in 16" 45sp with 12g lil gun is what I've tried so far with good accuracy 1 1/4" @ 100 yards sure is a neat little rifle for $200
