Today in Seeley-Swan (last year they had the rice ridge fire). The area is known for grizzly bears but I wanted an easy carry gun. So I took a kimber 45 with hollow points and my wife carried a S&W mod 60 with 38sp. We picked for a couple hours then got in the truck to drive farther. About 1/2 mile down the road a really big Grizzly bear ran in front of us. Ran up a rise 150 ft away, stopped and watched us.

How many times do you carry the “right” gun and never need it. So you get lazy and either don’t carry one at all or not the right one. We were about a week early for mushrooms so you can bet next week I’m bringing my 500 max T&A with me. My wife says she will step up to 357 loads
