As far as the animals are concerned, remember shot placement in paramount. A shot in the ass with the most expensive bullet made and in the most powerful rifle made is still just a shot in the ass. I have taken a semi truck load of large game (1500 to 2000 lb animals) in the last several years with a little 210 grain bullet in 41 caliber and that included a 6 X 6 bull elk and several 2000 lb Bison. In each case they were one shot kills, BUT there were a couple that I either pulled the shot and in one instance my scope was blown and the shot was a foot off where I had aimed, and it turned into a circus. I ended up shooting the animal 5 times and then drowning him. But shot placement is the key. Without it you might as well stay home. Both the 330 Falcon (8mm) and the 338 Falcon will do the job with the right shot placement.
