using a cheese grinder to flake it up. You mix it with Borax and some essential oils smell good to make your own liquid clothes washing soap. My wife made some and it works well, just a bit of trouble.
Lots of folks making it in bulk, 5 gal. at a time to save money with washing powders. That stuff is expensive you know and it has less chemicals in the homemade version.
