going to a manufacture and UPS and Fed Ex have both gone sky high on their prices. It is going to the manufacture so I would go to the P.O. and get a flat rate box, wrap the gun good in bubble wrap and send it to Ruger that way. It would be a lot cheaper. Remember Ruger doesn't have anything to do with the shipping costs. So don't blame them for that. They stand behind their guns and will do what is necessary to get the gun fixed. Every company has a lemon from time to time. Ruger is just as good if not better than ever.
