.357, what for?
Sunday, November 04, 2018, 17:11

Most of you suggested I not use my .357 for black bear defense, some on other forums have posted that the .357 is too small for deer. Not for bear, too small for deer, just what is it used for, in the world of hunting? I know it is one of the most reliable rounds for self defense against people with the right load. As for black bear, I was talking about a defensive situation, not hunting one and the load would be 180 gr hard cast. If I want to perforate paper, or kick up tin cans there are cheaper options, ammunition wise. I have 2 S&W's, a Model 19 and a 586, beginning to wonder WTF they are good for.
