barrel. I like mine with 158 grain HP for two legged predators. I keep it upstairs where any shot will pass through into the ground in front of the house. I have killed deer with it in Georgia when I first bought it. Shots were 20 yards to about 35 or 40 yards max. I used 180 grain castcore bullets and hits were in the spine in the neck or in the ear in one case. I agree with the folks below, bad shot placement means a long trek in finding the animal. I finally gave up and went to a rifle.
