In all my Navy moves I thought I had lost it. A letter from Roy E. Weatherby, hand signed! I had bought a .270WBY MKV Deluxe at his shop in Southgate the day I transferred from the USS LANG (FF-1060). I met his son Ed in the shop and he and his salesman Gil found a beautiful blonde wood stocked MKV. Two years later I got a elk and a nice mule deer during a combo hunt in my home state of Colorado! I sent Weatherby pics and praise of the .270WBY and Roy responded back with a nice letter. Finding it just made my day!!!
