It was in some bulk containers, a very fine ball type grain. I accidentally got some in the W296 burn rate range at the bench loading .378 GNR, thinking it was the medium rate rifle powder I desired.
Two cases actually were charged with about 65 gr. of pistol powder before I caught myself. God's protective hand revealed the mistake to me. Sure as I'm here I knew God's literal angel protected me. I thanked him then and give full credit now.
I now keep my powder far from the load bench and ONLY bring one powder to the bench at a time. I'm easily distracted and usually have lots on my mind, it only takes a second to make a mistake that could really end it all. Generically flake powder is fast, stick types are slow, ball can be anything, and even those generalizations are not fixed. Hopefully that thinking could prevent a very blatant and careless folly.
