In TX this was a standard. Including estrous scents and buck urine around feeders to hopefully get that dominant buck to linger a little longer while he checks for a hot doe.

My favorite rattling horns came from and old 14 point that was a narrow basket rack. He had great mass but was well within his ears. When I made the rattling horns my buddies couldn’t tell that he wasn’t 26” inside - hehe! They all thought it was a giant and they couldn’t believe that it wasn’t on the wall.
