stick into the mag tube well to take the place of the tube. prep that sucker and Accra-glass it up. It will last forever. I'd not be that surprised if it was done at the factory or long, long ago. I've glass bedded air-rifles, muzzle loaders, pistols, it's great stuff. A little finesse can get the color tone close enough.
