Charlie Kelsey's star tipped bullet (that got him killed, some say by the Mossad).

Charlie was the fellow that came up with the ASP, based on the S&W M-39 and M-59. That was years ago and only you guys older than navel lint will remember them. Here is Charlie and his ASP.

Anyway Charlie came up with the design for these "fluted" bullets. he sent us a big box of them for us to do some testing on animals. We loaded them up in the 454 to do the testing. In the meantime (now here comes the 2nd hand information I got) Charlie had sold a lot of the 9mm ammo with these bullets and he got a visit from the Mossad. They told him 2 of their agents were killed by these bullets and for him not to sell any more of them to the bad guys. Apparently Charlie didn't let this bother him and continued to sell them to whoever had the bucks. A short time after that he was found in a ditch outside Atlanta with a couple of 22 caliber bullet holes in the back of his head. That is the gist of the 2nd hand info I got from his partner. Being there was no reason for Kase and I to continue with the testing I set all the bullets and loaded ammo aside and forgot it, at least until I started seeing all these spiral tipped bullets hitting the market. So no matter how they are configured they all go back to the original bullet designed by Charlie Kelsey. That children is your history lesson for the day. And the moral of this story is "don't fuck with the Mossad". And I know someone will call me and say that is not how the story went, so before you do, I got this info from Charlie's partner and that is all I know.
