Ruger discontinued the Vaquero, which was on the large “BH size” frame (Old Vaquero) 2 digit prefix.
Then came the New Vaquero, Medium Frame, 3 digit prefix.
Then the 44 Mag came back, won’t work on the Medium Frame, so it is a Large Frame, It is a 2 digit prefix.
