stainless steel made in Reading, Pa. Manufacturer of specialty stainless steels to just about however strong you need it. I suspect that is who is supplying the SS for these frames. They engineered/developed/supply the special alloy of stainless steel for the Ruger Super-Redhawk to withstand the pressures of the 454 Casull and 480Ruger in a 6 shot cylinder. The plant is near where I live and I have about 30 family/friends working there. Like 6000 workers in a plant 2 miles long by 1/2 a mile wide...huge. Largest specialty stainless steel alloy company in the world. That's where all the material for surgical instruments come from as well. BTW, they also manufacture titanium alloy materials at another factory nearby..but that is another story altogether. Hope this helps.
