Don’t over do it on the G2. I shot one of my .338 GNR Max Encore loads in my G2 and it popped open. The brass busted my lip and bounced off a tooth! Never did find that piece of brass. It was a 200 gr. At 2600 fps! Throttled back a bit for the G1/G2 it’s much better! It kicked the lacy ion from under the locking bolts. A weak bolt spring will do that too.
Great cartridge! We took Black Buck at the Y-O ranch in TX. A memory I will cherish forever!
