Keep. If they are not useful make it into one that is. Keep the old parts for someone to throw out after I'm dead.
Got grandpa's shotgun;
stories about it came along too. Was useless to use for me as it was. Mauser Geha 12ga, but solid. New Shaw rifled barrel, Boyd's stock, Leupold scope and more. Transformed into a keeper. Shot many deer and won some turkey shoots. Added more stories. I'll pass it on to my son.
