I liked his controlled testing approach.

The accuracy testing of rim fire ammo must make folks crazy though. Variations in lot to lot and gun to gun. Drawing any useful conclusions are a hit and miss, no pun.

I had a friend weighing cartridges to the 1/10,000 of a gram, mic’d rim thickness to 0.001”. Then one bobble or twitch, puff of wind, anything and the effort is lost. It’s fun to him, not to me.

If you’ve ever scrapped slivers of lead from an old .22 or dulled a good pocket knife cleaning out a suppressor you can understand how it might be time for industry to try a littler harder as standard for the grand old .22 LR for the masses. I hope this catches on. The entire industry will benefit I’m sure.
