All I smell is traces of burnt nitro cellulose. In a handgun (.45 Super/Rowland) I got 1500 fps from 200 gr. SWC plain base, gas checked, red Harbor-freight, bullets. I was preoccupied with hanging onto the rubbery, flexing, G21 and didn’t think to sniff. Lol

It may have something to do with burn rates of propellant. I’m using Lil’Gun and Longshot respectively.
