Last November I did a goose hunt in Carthage NY and liked the region. It seemed very pro hunting and sportsman.

Now I do not want to step on toes but the big issue for me would be the NY Sullivan Act. I spoke with people who said it is a pain to get your NY permit and some have taken two years to do so.

Believe it or not in Massachusetts most towns will issue you an unrestricted license to carry as long as you take a safely class and have a clean background. It is the bigger cities like Boston and Springfield that give you a hard time.
