Being a child of the 60’s I actually saw some of the last true displays of real, honest, racism. Even today the memory shocks me. I’m proud of the hillbilly’s and rednecks showing restraint. They would mostly help anyone acting like a human being, regardless of their race, looks, or creed. As long as these felonious crazies stay clear of the defined lines in the sand it will be cool. However if the handlers command an expansion of their directive it might light the fuse! I pray that is not part of the plan.

I had a big discussion with the utility staff Friday, reviewing our ERP. Written plans of action to be followed. Not to engage, contact authorities (complete with varied numbers), but to defend themselves and coworkers if forced. We can’t have guns at work, but they are capable. Crazy times we were forced to review the possibilities and dust off plans of action. We have to keep things going.
