I had a too fast twist .22 centerfire that keyholed so violently that it made a zzzzzzzzzzzz sound after firing. It grouped 3-5 inches at 50 yds. completely sideways! That was with 55 gr., with 45 gr. and under it was perfect.
I think the Russians used a oversize bore button maybe .316" until it got to about .305" where it might blow up. Then they got another. I pray yours all shoot into the same hole!
