loaded with 4831 .. running about 2200 fps. At 50 yards the best was 3 inside 4" with most shooting into a pattern about 5 to 6 inches.
So I am gonna try the heavier bullets and see how they do. The 125's were very pleasant as far as recoil. Pretty much non-existent. But dinner plate "accuracy" at 50 yards just won't quite cut it.
The barrel on this gun is about .307" at the top of the lands. Groove diameter is somewhere around .310 - .311" so we will see if the .308" bullets will slug up.
I have some 150 gr. .spitzers coming.
