I also read that even earlier the Bess’ .72 550 gr. RB ahead of 165 gr. FFg would shoot through several dudes at 100 yds! We chrono’d it at 1500+ fps with a 777 equal by volume. Doug smoked a hog at HHC once, literally! Puffy ended up with that abortion we created. 15”, folding stock, .72 cal., Encore (handgun?) fired by a #209. Wonder where it is now?!
