I am not familiar with that conversion. Must be an interesting contraption. I found some top hat caps locally, new old stock. A few hundred go a long way! Two of my side hammer ML have the conversion nipples and one inline. Most Percussion guns I have however still use the #11 caps.

I take any FFg powder and grind it a bit using wood utensils to make better powder for my flash pans. You can grind it into dust if you are not careful. It needs some air.
