so I've been told, gravity makes it bounce off the inside of the hammer and out of the action workings. I have caps sticking using #10 caps sometimes, #11's sometimes blow off, so I pinch them to stay on. The skyward trick works when the caps split like they commonly do upon firing. Remingtons are what's fun with jamming caps.

If it were easy anyone could do it and there is no fun in that! lol
