The 90 degree ones, or cotter pin pullers pull the caps and fragments , usually without having to disassemble the firearm.
The small cotter pin pullers were available at Harbor Freight, the complete set with short handles cost less 5 bucks a few years ago.
I use the Slix-Shot nipples, but Treso nipples have worked well also.
