I have a little silver and gold I inherited but it's lots more complex to get top dollar for and I have little interest in coin collecting. The history is not as interesting as with firearms.
Long guns take up so much room. I'm gravitating to handguns that I enjoy for whatever button they push. While I might not go to AK very often to use those .338's I can pop a round or to off the deck with a good revolver. Heck I really enjoy that.
Went to check my stocks on rimfire ammo (Roman is pretty hard on supplies). What I thought was another case of .22 ended up being LP primers! It could be worse... No end in sight for component shortages, ammo will come in waves but I don't have much hope in surplus component production.
