I have a good mould and wish to conserve lead. The added velocity will be welcome with trajectory doping. I was gifted the 512 gr. buffalo slugs and have not had any time to do much of anything. They have been a real blessing to have available.
My application is a replica Sharps with a horrific pokey steel crescent shaped butt. It weighs 10 lbs. however so lighter recoil makes the experience more fun. The 1025 fps heavy bullet will do for now. I'll eventually get to experimenting with more powders but I lack some of the common old stand by's You cant just run out and buy what you want these days. I have a cashe of rifle powder but it's not one commonly listed for this application. But given some time to experiment I think I can manage a loading to use.
Your loads are very powerful and commendable for your uses!
