short barreled (relatively speaking) bolt action rifles. I could be wrong about the trend and maybe I'm just now seeing them around. A few examples are the Sig Cross, CZ 600 Trail, Christensen Arms MPR, and a few others. It makes me curious as to what the push was towards these types... maybe handgunners had some influence on this...?
