flew out to Washington state and started looking at every western state as far as moving our shop out west. We looked at probably 10 to 15 cities in 6 states and narrowed it down to Idaho, New Mexico or Arizona. The 2 towns in Idaho we liked had 3 or 4 big gun shops already and not wanting to fight them we passed on Idaho. I had a shop in Santa Fe in the mid 80s and thought about going back there, but a good friend who lives there told me the town was going liberal big time so that knocked it out. When we got to Arizona, Flagstaff had about 5 feet of snow on the ground and that sealed it for us as all 3 of us loved snow.
