not get much romantic historical credit. They predated the Sharps a bit. Seems a little easier to work actually. They sold a zillion to armies all over the world. Can't remember the last time I saw an article on them.

You occasionally see some at very affordable prices for the shooter/collector.

I've never actually had one. Anyone tinker with them?
