But 30-30 brass in hand being limited, and not having found primers to purchase in years, me thinks I'll wait a while before giving it a try. I could always "borrow" a box of 444 Marlin brass from my brother. In the meantime the next 410 experiment will be running a 380acp adapter in it, loading some 125 gr bullets over a pinch of powder, Tight group or Unique, time will tell.
