Sage's sell checks to put on plain base cast bullets with no intended check shank. They are just proper oversized checks to force on the bullet base. BUT they do work. I had aluminum checks and made devastating .45 bullets from 180 - 200 gr. SWC target bullets. Shot them over 1400 fps!
It was a little tricky to make them go ass first and straight, pushing on the smaller area nose, but I got it done.
