Yes I reamed my custom barrel to fit the longer case

Blake's 1911 had trouble with it as the OAL is the same as ACP but the ojive sometimes made the case mouth hang on the feed ramp. The Glock is more generous in the magazine length so it feeds about anything. The longer chamber also feeds ACP fine as the sloppier tolerances of the Glock (loose for function like AK) hooks the case and headspaces off the extractor! The .45 extractor even works with my 9mm Luger barrel.

I accidentally throated the chamber too much! Sort of leaned on the reamer. lol. But my barrel basically allows the 200 gr. almost to clear the case before it engages rifling and begins higher pressure. I'd love to see some real engineers print a pressure curve on that. Weatherby's do the same but maybe not so drastic. Like I said it was a bit of an accident. On slow-mo video you can tell the frame flexes some, absorbing recoil. I got 1300 fps with a 230 gr. too, using slower powder.

I miss-measured the barrel and brake interface and got a little to long barrel (by about 1/2") for a streamlined look but it's freaky like me. Boy what a blaster. I also use a 6" G20 barrel for 10mm. Again shooting cast gas checked bullets sized .401 for the conventional aftermarket barrels. I got the same speeds, 1400 for a 200, 1300 for a 230. I'd not want to shoot them all day, but that's my max. Lowered 100 fps is about right to be extra safe.

It's been real fun with the G21 and I plan to sort of do the same with this G23. The .22 TCM looks fun. However I'm already ordering a threaded G19 barrel to use.

The 200 gr. target bullet was treated to a "plain base gas check" from Sage's Reloading. I had to seat the checks by pushing backward through the sizer.
