Tennessee deer hunting. I had a couple of deer get up and walk off giving me a day's worth of tracking to get another shot. At the time I based that problem on the Python even though back then if I had taken a minute and looked closer at the shot placement I would have admitted the Python wasn't at fault, it was my shooting. But for one reason or another I tired of the Python, both of them about 3 years apart and they went down the road. That would have been in the late 70s and I had Auto Mags on my mind so several guns that should have stayed in my safe went to another Colt fan.
