It snowed hard for the last 36 hours. This gave us several feet of new snow. Yesterday afternoon Kase climbed out to see how deep it was on the roof. He was standing on at least 4 feet of snow. The dogs are loving it. Standing on drifts of 6 or 7 feet of snow that is leftover from last weeks 8 feet of snow, they enjoy standing on the drifts and looking in the windows.

Overnight it snowed hard until about 2AM, then it turned into sleet and then rain. That several feet of snow is now 12 inches of slush. I went out and placed some sticks to outline the driveway. Colleen is opening the shop today while Kase and I try to see what we can do if anything about this mess. I told her to hit it hard and stay between the sticks as it is even worse on each side of the drive. She knows to floor it and don't let up until she gets pavement under her wheels. She drives a Nissen 4X4 Armada and she managed to make it out. Now it is up to Kase and me to make it thru this mess. There was already maybe 2 feet of snow and packed ice in the drive before the snow and rain hit us last night. Now it is a bog and thank the Lord we have good 4 wheel drive vehicles. Even then it is hard driving thru all this mess. With probably 6 or 8 inches of packed frozen ice, then at least 2 feet of new snow that has turned into slush it is hard going. Plus late yesterday the county snow plow plowed the road and left a 3 foot berm of snow at the end of the drive. In the pictures you can see the large berm of snow the plow left us. So not only do we have to get thru 65 yards of slush, then we have to get over almost 3 feet of packed snow.
