don't leave that ammo out in the sun on a hot, late summer day. First time I ever shot a friend's Reeder 475 Linebaugh it was in 2001. He loaded it with Hornady ammo that had been sitting in the sun while we all chatted. Then he had me shoot it and for some reason or other it was over the chronograph. I'd read about how the heavens would part and the earth shake to its core when you shot a 475 Linebaugh, so I was latched on good to that pistol. The sun soaked ammo was clocking over 1700 fps! I'd no idea what it was rated as, just remember thinking "That's not so bad!" I still would rather shoot a 475 than a 454 Casull though.
