Man!! Some of y’all are OLD!! But seriously, grew up in NM with parents of that generation. I remember milk being delivered. We had TV, 3 channels that signed of at 2300 with a crying Native American. (We weren’t PC, we said Indian), I listened to the Dark Shadow on the radio, and my cousin introduced me to Iron Butterfly and Easy Rider. I rode my bike all over town, had to be in by dark. I wore a dress and “bonnet” on Easter Sunday. I think I was pretty damn lucky growing up! Got busted in the ass when I needed it, and hugged often.
