and they are saying up here at 8000 feet we may well have 10 below by tomorrow morning. We are also looking at temps of zero or well below for the next week or so. My questions here is the heat lamps in my chicken houses. Colleen picked up some new bulbs today for the houses but i am not sure if this is the right bulbs. She got 250 watt, infrared heat lamps. In years past I had mostly ducks and they sleep out on top of the snow. Cold doesn't bother them. But I am not sure about these lamps. I don't know if they are too much. Any ideas from the live stock guys?
