to get there and keep pressures in check (by my standards) I need H110 or Lil'gun. Lil'gun actually cuts pressures by about 20% at the same velocities. It may just be the thing. But I need to re-do the primers with hot caps. I've beat the last projectile from a $2k revolver bore, thank you!

Lil'gun has gotten some bad press but I think it is more due to 99.9% loads, basically compressed, said to foster pre-mature throat erosion. I personally think at 80-85% loads it has no ill effects. I shot about 4 lbs. of it through a .41 cal. before I was told it was fattening. I saw no problems. I should be able to easily get my slick 300 gr. (actually slightly less) .45 slug to 1200 fps and stay well under a listed 30,000 cup rating.
