Bag. Goerg used a .357 Python with good effect, but I’d prefer something bigger than .357. I also think an expanding jacketed bullet would be a suitable application. Goats and sheep I’ve shot responded much better to hydrostatic tissue disruption compared to a clean hole blown through.
I shot a sheep once and the bullet kicked up dirt 50 yds. beyond. I thought I missed. The sheep did too! But I didn’t.
