9 lbs with scope and all. I’ve tried adding forend weight but it requires the shotgun forend screw size upgrade. It will strip out those little 8:40 screws if you are not careful. The buttstock is truly the best place to add weight. The shotgun screws are much more robust but the matching friends are outrageous $$$$.
Gary’s brake helps with the gas thrust issue but physics cannot be totally canceled. A 570 gr. at 2150 fps gets your attention. Synthetic furniture helps with flex. We tried laminated but it broke it.
